The Extreme Challenge is the second-longest running Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event in the nation and will celebrate its 21st anniversary later this year.
Led by MMA Hall of Fame promoter Monte Cox, the Extreme Challenge has been held in 22 states and 3 foreign countries. The event has produced more than 20 world champions, including nine in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Among the event’s champions are Pat Miletich, Matt Hughes, Jens Pulver, Sean Sherk, Robbie Lawler and Rich Franklin.
Extreme Challenge started in Bettendorf, Iowa, in 1996.
