The Carroll County Historical Society is hosting their annual open house this Sunday, June 3 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees will be able to take a step back into our past at four different locations, the Carroll County Museum on the corner of Highway 30 and Court Street features items and stories from the founding of Carroll and beyond. Take a look at like what day-to-day life was like in Graham Park at the Trappers Cabin and one-room schoolhouse and then head out to the east side of Swan Lake to tour the farmstead barn and corn crib. There will be special activities at all locations for this free, family-friendly event. For the remainder of the summer season, the museum will be open Tuesdays through Fridays from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
