Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
New Opportunities, a respected 501(c)(3) Community Action Agency based in Carroll, Iowa, is seeking a highly qualified and strategic financial leader to serve as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The organization employs approximately 140 staff members and manages a strong annual operating budget of $16.4 million.
The CFO is a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for overseeing all fiscal operations of the organization, including budgeting, financial planning, audits, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity, sustainability, and strategic growth of the organization.
Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A CPA is preferred, along with a minimum of four years of progressive financial management experience. The CFO reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and works closely with the Board of Directors.
