Landus Cooperative is inviting female members and customers to sign up for their upcoming third annual women in agriculture, Ventures: Connections & Conversations in Ag.” The one day, Feb. 15 event will be held at the Courtyard Marriott in Ankeny and will give producers the energy and confidence they need to reach farm goals and the newest tools and insights to get them there. Attendees will be able to select from a variety of breakout sessions, including grain marketing, succession planning, grain quality management and value-added agronomy. The general session’s guest speaker will be Delaney Howell, host of IPTV’s Market to Market. “Ventures isn’t just about inspiring women to take a more active role in their operations. It’s also about preparing them with the business tools and cooperative resources to make it happen,” says Senior Grain Marketing Advisor, Stacy Raasch. “Landus Cooperative is proud to bring together our team of experts along with our industry partners to work directly with female farmers who are seeking out ag conversations, education and decision-making support.” All members will receive a reduced rate of $40 to attend and FFA and 4-H members as well as college students can receive further discounted tickets by using the code STUDENT at registration.
