Healthcare providers and employees of St. Anthony Regional Hospital have organized a fundraising event in support of the new Cancer Center that doubles as a way to promote health and wellness. The Steps of Hope Fun Run, a 5K run or walk, has been scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 7 at Swan Lake State Park south of Carroll. All proceeds will be used to help fund the construction of the regional center on the St. Anthony campus. Cost to participate is $10 for an individual or $15 for a family and registration forms can be picked up at the St. Anthony Human Resources Department, through the contact points included with this story online or filled out the day of the event. Registration will start at 8 a.m. on Sept. 7 at the Swan Lake East Side Shelter House with the run/walk beginning at 8:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served.
