A motorcycle driver escaped injury in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday southeast of Paton. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 500 block of X Avenue at approximately 6:26 p.m. The investigation revealed that 39-year-old Jason Perkins of Des Moines lost control of a 2001 Honda and entered the ditch. There was an estimated $1,500 in damage to the motorcycle. Perkins was cited for no valid driver’s license.
