Two people were transported for treatment following a head-on collision in western Carroll County Friday afternoon. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Carroll Fire Department and Carroll County Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene of the accident about two miles east of Westside on Highway 30. Details surrounding the accident are unclear at this time, but both drivers were transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries. Following the accident, a secondary collision occurred between two vehicles stopped behind the scene. A semi-tractor trailer backed up on the highway and struck a passenger vehicle.
