Work on a bridge replacement about three miles southeast of Audubon is scheduled for next month and will close down thru-traffic until fall. Construction on the bridge, located on Lark Avenue just south of 215 Street, will begin on Tuesday, July 11 and closes about a half-mile of road from 215th to 220th. Work is expected to take about 65 working days to complete which places the estimated completion date in mid-October. The Audubon County Emergency Management Office advises citizens and emergency responders to plan alternate routes during the construction.
