Kuemper Coach And Activity Director, Tim Fitzpatrick, To Be Honored At Public Retirement Reception

After 39 years in Catholic education, Kuemper Catholic School System’s Activity Director, Tim Fitzpatrick, will be retiring effective June 30. The public is invited to help him celebrate his upcoming retirement at a reception in his honor Monday, May 22. Fitzpatrick has touched the lives of many people in the Carroll area as a school administrator, teacher and coach. He served as principal to Holy Trinity Schools in the Halbur, Roselle and Templeton Parishes and as fifth-grade principal at Kuemper Catholic Schools. He was also the St. Lawrence physical education teacher and athletic director as well as the Kuemper High School girls’ basketball coach. Kuemper President, John Steffes, says they are grateful to Fitzpatrick for his years of leadership and for the example he has provided staff and students about dedication, hard work and having a passion for what you do in life. Monday’s celebration will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at Kerp’s Tavern in Carroll.
