A trailer full of feed was deemed a total loss yesterday (Monday) after a semi-tractor caught fire in Churdan. At approximately 6:33 a.m., the Churdan Fire Department and Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 800 block of Fitzpatrick Street after a caller reported the burning load. Officials say the driver was able to detach the semi from the trailer before it sustained significant damage, but the trailer was deemed a total loss. No other significant damage or injuries were reported in Monday’s blaze.
