The Carroll Community School District (CCSD), through its Transition Alliance Program (TAP), will be hosting the first Adult Transition Fair this upcoming Monday. Director of Student Services, Crystal Boes says TAP Coordinator Ruby Morales is the one spearheading this initiative, saying she approached Boes with the idea after seeing a need in the community.
The event will be held at the DMACC Knott Commons from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Boes welcomes anyone looking for additional information for community resources to attend.
Information on financial supports such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Guardianship will also be available. There is no registration required to attend but Boes says there will be a sign-up sheet when individuals get there.
Contact points for Boes and Morales can be found included below. Otherwise, all are welcome to attend CCSD’s first Adult Transition Fair this upcoming Monday at the DMACC Knott Commons from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
