Christmas in a Small Town, hosted by Main Street Coon Rapids (MSCR), is one week away, with a schedule full of activities from young to adults. The celebration is a kick-off to the holiday season in Coon Rapids and MSCR Executive Director Katie Mason says it’s amazing how popular the event has gotten, stretching from just an evening to a full day since the first one 18 years ago. Mason says it’s a great day to get out to start shopping for everyone on your list this year.
While the adults shop, Mason says that there are over a dozen kid’s activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. located through downtown Coon Rapids.
Mason says there will also be chances for shoppers to win some prizes throughout the day.
