The Lake View Community Club (LVCC) is encouraging shopping local this season with a new “Small Business Saturday” vendor fair. A week from today (Saturday), over 50 vendors will be set up at the Lake View Community Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to cross just about anyone off your list. LVCC Event Coordinator Emily Meyer says this is a new to Lake View event and it all started with a hair-brained idea.
Meyer says vendors will have a wide variety of gifts available, from handmade crafts, home décor, treats and more, but shopping isn’t the only thing planned for the event.
While up in Lake View, Meyer encourages all to check out the other small businesses located downtown.
Again, the LVCC is inviting all to come start their Christmas shopping in Lake View next Saturday, Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lake View Community Center for the first Small Business Saturday vendor fair.
