High schoolers from the Audubon Community School District and Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton (EHK), along with the public are invited to attend a public showing of Gridshock, a film about sex trafficking in Iowa, on Thursday. The film has made an appearance at many local communities, educating students and residents of the signs and dangers of human trafficking that is happening in the state. Stacy Besch, a representative from Team Iowa, will discuss key points such as what human trafficking is, who is involved and what the public should be on the lookout for to be able to report it to authorities. The presentation will be at the Audubon High School’s auditorium starting at 1 p.m. Again, the public is welcome to attend the free presentation Thursday.
