The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education will be hosting a work session on Monday to discuss the district’s finances and a closed session on the agenda. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the board room at Adams Elementary School, with Director of Business Affairs Nicole McCarville diving deeper into financial information and where the budget stands, with the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 nearly halfway through. The remainder of the meeting will have a closed session per Iowa Code 21.5.1.i, to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance, or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation and that individual requests a closed session for a routine superintendent evaluation. Monday night’s work session will be open to the public, aside from the closed session, and all are welcome to attend at 6:30 p.m. at Adams Elementary.
