Caring Hearts of West Central Iowa will be hosting their annual fundraising event this weekend, encouraging all to come saddle up for its Wild West Holiday Hoopla. Executive Director Joellen Buerckley and Waiver Service Advisor Leann Lansink encourage all to come out this Saturday Oct. 18 at Culligan Water (326 N. Clark St.) for all sorts of activities while supporting the non-profits mission of assisting individuals with disabilities and for anyone in need.
Buerckley says all of the money raised during the hoopla will go towards two outreach projects through the organization.
What started as just an idea back in the summer of 2023 quickly became a physical space for anyone in need. Buerckley says Caring Hearts provides more than just a place of refuge though.
The fundraising event begins at 6 p.m. Saturday and Buerckley says tickets can be purchased now or at door, with some business and sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals interested.
Again, Caring Hearts of West Central Iowa encourages all to come celebrate with them a Wild West Holiday Hoopla this Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Culligan Water.
