Whiterock Conservancy in Coon Rapids will be hosting its first Whiterock Nature Quest this weekend to give participants a deeper look at the diverse landscape and encourage outdoor activity. Environmental Summer Steward, Emilee Stephens says she came up with the quest as a new, interactive activity to encourage people to visit Whiterock Conservancy.
The Nature Quest will take place at the Historic Farm District located at 1390 Ia-141 in Coon Rapids from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m this Saturday. Stephens says it is self-paced and will include a variety of themed stations.
Stephens notes that there is some physical activity to participate in this event so be sure to come prepared.
The Whiterock Nature Quest is free with no pre-registration needed. Stephens says she will meet you at the bridge located as soon as you pull into the Farm District and she will guide you on where to go from there. Again, Stephens hopes to see everyone join her for this fun, interactive nature quest this upcoming Saturday anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Whiterock’s Historic Farm District.
