Sac County Fair Kicks Off Tuesday With “Stayin Alive In ’25”

The 2025 Sac County Fair is going retro this year, featuring some old favorites and new activities for attendees to enjoy. The fair begins tomorrow (Tuesday) for a week-long, packed schedule for the “Staying Alive in ’25″ themed event. Sac County Fair Manager, Amanda Weber, says the fair board was looking for something that would catch people’s attention to get them ready to have fun starting tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

Live music from The Brady-Luke Band and Allie Colleen will take place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. Wednesday will be the start of 4-H and FFA livestock shows, with the Barnes PRCA Rodeo at 7:30 p.m. in the grandstand. Thursday is designated as Health Day, which Weber says will feature local healthcare facilities with information and activities promote healthy living.

On Thursday night, attendees can enjoy the Outlaw Tractor Pull and music from DJ Duane Murley in the beer garden. Friday’s schedule includes the 4-H and FFA beef show, tomahawk throwing near the gazebo, a dog show, the Bill Riley Talent Show, figure 8 races, and more entertainment.

Saturday’s full lineup includes the baby contest, bags tournament, bike rodeo, kids pedal power pull, and concludes with live music—Cory Waller and the Wicked Things, followed by Aaron Tippin, on the grandstand stage. Weber notes that admission price includes all scheduled events throughout the fair.

Weber says none of this would be possible without the amazing Sac County sponsors, who contribute financially, volunteer their time, and support the success and fun for everyone. Again, the Sac County Fair kicks off tomorrow (Tuesday) in Sac City and will run through the rest of the week. The complete schedule can be found included below.
