The Sacred Heart Community Closet in Manning is seeking donations of school supplies and Wolves gear to distribute at the free back-to-school garage sale. The free garage sale will take place on Friday, July 25, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday, July 26, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the rectory garage. To assist families in the IKM-Manning District, Sacred Heart Community Closet is seeking donations to provide students with school supplies. Items of the greatest need include: earbuds/headphones, backpacks, washable markers, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, Kleenex, gallon Ziploc bags, hard pencil cases, and IKM-Manning Wolves gear and clothing. Donations can be dropped off at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall, the library, city hall, or Manning Regional Health Care in Manning, or at the Catholic Church entryway or city hall in Manilla. Again, IKM-Manning families, join the Sacred Heart Community Closet on Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26, for a free back-to-school garage sale to prepare for the upcoming school year.
