The Greene County Peace Officers Association is holding a raffle ticket fundraiser for a ride-on kids patrol car. Two winners will be chosen on August 14 to win one of either a Greene County Sheriff’s Office or a Jefferson Police Department power wheel designed to look just like the agencies’ patrol vehicles for kids to enjoy. All proceeds from the raffle go to fund law enforcement scholarships, community betterment projects, annual Shop with a Cop event and more. Tickets are $10 each or four for $30 and can be found at the Greene County Law Enforcement Center, HyVee Customer Services in Jefferson or reaching out to any officer on either force.
