Monday night storms that swept through the listening area brought a large tree on top of a Lake View residents’ home that caused significant damage. Jesse and Molly Beckman were not injured after a tree collapsed onto the roof on their home, creating a huge hole into their living room, but will require a lot of work on the house to reverse the damage. Donations are currently being accepted at Iowa State Bank in Lake View to help offset the costs of repairs. Checks need to be made out to Jesse and Molly Beckman and can be dropped off or mailed to the bank at 419 Main St. Lake View, IA 51450.
