CCSD Board Of Education Reviews District Testing Data Scores During Monday Night’s Work Session

The Carroll Community School District Board of Education held a work session Monday night reviewing district assessment results from the 2024-25 school year. District screening tests are administered to students from preschool through 11th grade for reading, math, and some science subjects as a quick initial assessment. In contrast, ISASP tests are achievement tests that measure acquired knowledge in specific subjects implemented for 3rd through 11th grades. Director of Special Education and Adams Elementary Principal Amy Collison, and former Instructional Coach and the Fairview Elementary Principal Ryan Simmelink presented the data, reviewing the number of kids meeting benchmarks, identifying the celebrations of each assessment of students, and planning for the next steps that administration and teachers plan to utilize to assist more students reach proficiency. The only action items on Monday night’s agenda included the personal report and purchase of 425 Chrome books for 5th and 9th-grade students for $125,369. Carroll Broadcasting will bring you more on the board’s work session in upcoming newscasts.
