The Carroll Public Library is hosting the annual “Meet the Merchants” event this Thursday, welcoming all to come visit with players on the Carroll Merchants team. Opening day was yesterday (Monday) featuring the White Merchants taking on the Camo Merchants, with the game resulting in a tie. Library Director Wendy Johnson says everyone is welcome this Thursday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. come meet those who make up the Merchants team this year.
Johnson says this is an excellent opportunity to get to know the players that bring the entertainment of America’s past time to the Carroll community.
Some light refreshments will be provided by the Carroll Merchants. This come and go event will be held in the large meeting room at the library. Johnson says it’s exciting to not only welcome the new players, but also catch up with some familiar faces from years past.
Again, the Carroll Public Library’s annual “Meet the Merchants” event is this Thursday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and all are welcome to attend. Schedules of all Merchants games will also be available to pick up or can be viewed using the link included below.
