The 40th Annual Friends of the Kuemper Ball raised a new high record of over $800,000 to help continuing the efforts of education and faith throughout the community. Since the start of the ball four decades ago, nearly $14 million dollars have been raised to go towards teacher and staff salaries, renovations, and updates of the building, and upgrading technology. Kuemper President John Steffes says this anniversary of the ball was not the only milestone being celebrated.
Legacy Chairs Tim and Ann Fitzpatrick reflected on this year’s theme, “The Legacy Continues, Celebrating 40 Years of the Kuemper Ball”, and how it represents the impact of Kuemper in the Carroll area.
Steffes says he continues to be amazed at the support of the Kuemper schools and its through everyone’s efforts that they continue to raise the bar, with this year’s grand total reaching $804,338.
Staff and students of Kuemper also want to extend a huge thank you to all the sponsors that have contributed to the night in some way, and of course to everyone who donated to make this a record-breaking year.
