Brad Carlson, who is the owner of Northwest CPH, LLP and Carlson Properties, the companies that own and manage Fairview Village Apartments in Carroll, recently spoke with city leaders. He says his team has been pursuing the implementation of several different efforts to stem the recent rash of violent altercations and illegal activity reported at the complex. One of these is the legal means for the removal of some residents accused of drug and gun activity and other serious crimes.
Carlson says they have also placed an additional manager at the property and the first week with the new full-time staff in place went very smoothly. He says they believe this will be a highly productive measure. They will also be utilizing digital technology that will be made available to the Carroll Police Department.
Chief, Brad Burke, says they have seen a decrease in illegal activity in recent weeks.
Mayor, Dr. Eric Jensen, says he also appreciates the officers’ efforts to not only police Fairview Village, but to get to know the residents on a more personal level to help them with issues as they arise.
