The Carroll County Board of Supervisors has a lengthy agenda for Monday, but the meeting itself should move rather quickly. The board convenes at 9 a.m. in the supervisors’ meeting room at the Carroll County Courthouse. The first item will be a public hearing on a proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 budget amendment across multiple departments. All in all, the amendment adjusts the county’s FY26 budget by nearly $215,000 from various line items. Following the public hearing, the supervisors will consider the related appropriations resolution. The board will also consider approval of a request for Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) tax increment financing (TIF) collections associated with the Westfield Urban Renewal Area, where a developer, Thirty Love LLC, is proposing to construct a retail commercial store in Carroll to house a MarMaxx location. The only other items of business on Monday’s agenda are routine items, such as payables, secondary roads permits, and manure management annual updates. The Monday, May 11, meeting is open to the public and will also be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel. Links to the agenda and video are included below.
