Carol Ann Stricker, age 82, of Glidden, IA, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Thomas Rest Haven in Coon Rapids, IA.
A private service will be held at a later date.

Carol Ann Stricker was born October 17, 1943 at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll and she was the daughter of William F. and Marjorie (Lindsay) Stricker. She attended Glidden Community Schools graduating with the Class of 1961. Carol moved to Omaha, NE, and was employed for Mutual of Omaha for 22 years as an auditor. She returned to Glidden and was a companion and caregiver. Carol enjoyed spending the summers in Minnesota and the winters in Florida and had an enormous love for animals, especially her cats.
Carol is survived by her siblings: Marilyn Lindsay of Saint Paul, MN, Diane Gymer of Battle Creek, MI, Richard Stricker (Pam Lewis) of Coon Rapids, MN, Terri Reineke (Eugene) of Coon Rapids, IA; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents; brother William L. Stricker; and brother-in-law Gary Gymer.
