Audubon residents and visitors will need to be aware of new traffic signage, creating a four-way stop near the elementary school beginning tomorrow (Wednesday). It was last year the city council approved a resolution to add stop signs to the intersection of Leroy Street and South Street, just east of the school. The reasoning behind the change was to slow down traffic, especially during afternoons when school is let out to keep students safe if needing to cross the street. The four-way stop goes into effect tomorrow (Wednesday) April 1.
