GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Zach Lahn Hosts Campaign Event Monday In Templeton

Zach Lahn, one of five candidates in the race for the GOP’s gubernatorial nomination, will be hosting a campaign event in Templeton on Monday. Lahn, who will appear on Republican ballots in the June primaries, is scheduled to appear at the Still in Templeton on Monday, March 30, beginning at 7 p.m. Lahn is somewhat of a political outsider in the GOP’s primary, as he has not held public office or worked in government previously. However, the Iowa farmer and businessman previously worked as a consultant for Americans for Prosperity, a political advocacy group. Lahn’s campaign has centered primarily on protecting Iowa’s farmland from outside sources, both foreign and domestic, restoring the viability of family farms, and restoring educational integrity. RSVPs are requested using the contact points included with this story on our website. Other candidates in the GOP gubernatorial primary race include U.S. Congressman Randy Feenstra, former Iowa House Representative Brad Sherman, former Iowa Department of Administrative Services Director Adam Steen, and Iowa House Representative Eddie Andrews. The GOP’s nominee will face Iowa State Auditor and the Democratic nominee frontrunner, Rob Sand, in the November election.
