Carroll County Supervisors To Consider Revisions To Five-Year Road Plan

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday to consider adjustments to the county’s five-year road program and a supplementary retirement plan option for employees. The board convenes at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 30, at the Carroll County Courthouse. Carroll County Engineer Zac Andersen will present proposed changes to the previously approved five-year roads plan. No changes to the estimated cost or scope of work are being proposed; rather, the construction schedule is to be realigned. A proposed box culvert replacement on Sycamore Avenue is being moved from 2028 to 2026; a Jade Avenue culvert replacement is being moved from 2026 to 2027; and the Mahogany Avenue replacement is going from 2026 to 2027. Andersen will also present a $50,200 bid from Carroll Control Systems Inc. to replace boilers in the Carroll County Secondary Roads building. Other items on Monday’s agenda include a resolution for forgiveness of a loan through the county’s participation in the Down Payment Assistance Program, a presentation from Corebridge on offering a secondary retirement plan option to staff, and manure management annual updates. The March 30 meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel. Links to the agenda and video are included below.
