The Manning Rotary Club honored longstanding Rotarian Brad Vollstedt with the International “Service Above Self” award for his over 30 years with the organization. Each year, a maximum of 150 recipients worldwide are selected for this honor, being the highest award within a Rotary group. The Service Above Self is presented to a Rotarian for outstanding volunteerism and humanitarian services. Vollstedt has been previously recognized in 2018 with the District 6000 Guardian of Integrity award, a Level Seven Paul Harris Fellow, and a gold pin with a ruby stone for his more than $7,000 in donations to Rotary Foundations outside of his local club. Vollstedt was presented with the award during the Manning Rotary Club’s meeting on March 17.
