No injuries were reported after an SUV crashed into the front of a Carroll chiropractor’s office Thursday afternoon. The Carroll Police Department was dispatched at approximately 1:46 p.m. to the Soppe Chiropractic Clinic near the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and W. 15th Street. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the driver, identified as 27-year-old Ekue Philipe Gerald Amouzou of Carroll, who told law enforcement he had mistakenly hit the gas on his 2023 Hyundai Tucson instead of the brake while parking, leading to the collision with the building. Amouzou was uninjured in the crash, and authorities say he showed no signs of impairment. Damage to the SUV is estimated at $1,000, while the building sustained approximately $10,000 in damage.
