The Lanesboro Quasi Committee is getting ready for the town’s 125th celebration in the summer of 2027, with the first of many fundraising opportunities happening this weekend. This Saturday, the committee with Big Daddy Addy is hosting Ham Bingo at the Lake City Community Memorial Building starting at 6 p.m. For $10, attendees will get a bingo sheet to allow for unlimited play all night, with hot dogs, popcorn and a cash bar for concessions and refreshments. All of the proceeds will go directly to fund the activities and events planned during Lanesboro’s Quasquicentennial in July 2027. Join the Lanesboro Quasi Committee this Saturday for Ham Bingo, with doors opening at 6 p.m., games beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Lake City Community Memorial Building. The group is also encouraging everyone to follow the Lanesboro Iowa Betterment Facebook page for more fundraising opportunities and the revealing of the town’s celebrations next year.
