U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley will welcome representatives from Carroll County Growth Partnership (CCGP) and other Iowa agencies in Washington D.C. this week to discuss key issues local governments face. Grassley says its very important for local government officials or service agency staff meet with him so he can continue working to pass legislation that will help with any concerns Iowans may have.
One key discussion that has come up during this time is the designation of St. Anthony Regional Hospital being a Critical Access Hospital through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Grassley says another reason local agencies like to meet with him during this time is to discover funding opportunities and how he can assist with that.
Aside from CCGP, Grassley will also be meeting with the Small Business Committee, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Mid-Iowa Community Action, National League of Cities, plus many more groups. Grassley made his comments during his weekly Capitol Hill Report with Iowa reporters.
