Third- and fourth-graders can register for Raccoon Camp, scheduled for June 23-25 and July 21-23. Owl Camp is geared toward fifth- and sixth-graders from June 30 to July 30, with a focus on river environments. The final two camps are for older kids. The Iowa Junior Naturalist Program has a curriculum for 11- to 14-year-old kids from Aug. 4-6, while the Overnight Explorers Camp is for seventh- and eighth-graders. Five different Knee-High Naturalist programs will also be offered through the summer, including June 19, July 7, July 17, Aug. 4, and Aug. 21. Space is limited, and spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Costs for the camps range from $20 to $45, depending on duration and necessary supplies.
