Main Street Iowa’s Open 4 Business grant application period is now open for Main Street district businesses to utilize for expenses that encourage development. Each Main Street community across the state can submit one application for a business located in the designated district for up to $25,000 in funding for projects including equipment, marketing, software upgrades, and inventory. The funding cannot be used for general operating expenses, remodeling, employee payroll and purchase of vehicles. Eligible business in the listening area must be located within the Main Streets of Manning, Coon Rapids, Jefferson and Guthrie Center. Eligible applicants are encouraged to reach out to their respective Main Street program for local requirements, deadlines and for additional information.
