The Wound Care Clinic at Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC)has received the Excellence in Patient Satisfaction Award from RestorixHealth, recognizing the clinic’s high level of patient care. The national award is presented to wound care centers that achieve or exceed a 96 percent patient satisfaction benchmark. MRHC CEO Shannon Black says, “This recognition reflects the exceptional care and patient experience our wound care team consistently demonstrates. Thank you to our wound care team for making this accomplishment possible and for their continued commitment to excellence.” The clinic provides specialized treatment for patients with non-healing wounds, using a combination of traditional and advanced therapies to improve healing rates and, ultimately, prevent lower limb loss. Nurse Kendra Tiefenthaler says, “We are grateful to our patients for trusting us with their care. We look forward to continuing to serve our community and expanding awareness of the comprehensive wound care services available close to home.” Wound care services are offered weekly at the facility in Manning, with clinics held each Thursday.
