Duck hunters, conservationists, and outdoor enthusiasts will gather in Rockwell City at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds for the Calhoun County Ducks Unlimited Twin Lakes Chapter 2026 banquet. Doors open at 5 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday) at the expo center, and Ducks Unlimited member Miki Grossman says they have a great night in store for those who are planning on joining.
Individual tickets are priced at $50 each, $65 for a couple, and $25 for youth attendees. Tickets are also available for purchase online via the link with this story on our website. Dinner will begin around 6 p.m. with the evening’s program and live auction starting at approximately 7 p.m. Grossman says nearly all of the money they raise each year goes to support wetland preservation efforts, both in Calhoun County and in waterfowl nesting areas in other states.
She adds that a portion of the money also backs scholarships for local youth. While the evening is titled after waterfowl, Grossman says you don’t need to be a duck hunter to join in Saturday’s festivities.
