Manning City Administrator Dawn Meyer Presented With Good Neighbor Award At Carroll Chamber Banquet

Manning City Administrator Dawn Meyer was presented with one of the two Good Neighbor awards through the Carroll Chamber of Commerce at the 2026 Banquet last week. The Good Neighbor award is presented to an individual who does not reside in Carroll, but is apart of the network team that promote Carroll and surrounding communities. Carroll County Growth Partnership (CCGP) President Mike Franey says Meyer may not call Carroll home, but she consistently shows up anyway.

Meyer has severed many years with the Carroll Area Development Corporation and on the executive board for CCGP. Franey says Meyer has always thought about what was best for the whole region, not specifically focused to just Manning.

Meyer says she is honored and surprised by the award and thanks the collaboration of all the city partners and organizations throughout Carroll County.

The second Good Neighbor award was presented to the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration from La Crosse, Wis., for all the assistance serving individuals and families through the three main non-profits in Carroll. The sisters were not available to be present at the banquet, but Carroll Broadcasting will be attending the presentation ceremony at St. Anthony Regional Hospital later this month. Coverage from the remaining award winners from the Carroll Chamber Banquet will continue in upcoming newscasts.
