Fort Dodge Regional Airport announced this morning (Friday) expanded direct flight options for local air travelers. Beginning May 21, United Express flights operated by SkyWest Airlines will offer five weekly round-trip flights to Denver. Airport Director Sarah Rustvold says, “We are excited for the additional access these flights to Denver will provide and are beyond grateful that SkyWest is adding it to our flight schedule. I also appreciate all those in the community—individuals and businesses—who have voiced their support for bringing a flight to Denver back to Fort Dodge as an option.” The move to add Denver to the flight schedule comes five years after the airport added daily flights to Chicago to its roster in 2021. The move allows local travelers to make seamless transitions to connecting flights around the world.
