Tomorrow (Thursday) night, the Carroll Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating the Carroll community by honoring businesses and individuals going above and beyond at the Chamber Banquet. Seven awards will be presented to various community members and businesses for helping to make Carroll the place it is. Awards include: Citizen of the Year, Hometown Hero, Humanitarian, Good Neighbor, Public Service, Heritage Business and New Business. Same as last year, no acceptance speeches will be held at the ceremony, instead Carroll Broadcasting will conduct interviews and present the follow-up recognition over the next couple of days. Chamber staff wish to thank everyone who has purchased a ticket, for this year’s banquet presenting sponsor JEO Consulting Group, and look forward to celebrating with everyone tomorrow (Thursday) night at the Carrollton Centre.
