For couples who have trouble making plans for Valentine’s Day, the Carroll American Legion has you covered with next weekend’s winter dance. American Legion member Randy Nieland says it’s a great opportunity to get out of the house and treat that special someone to an enjoyable evening.
The dance is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 14, at the American Legion Hall on Heires Avenue. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the dance running from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Nieland says they are excited to welcome back a local favorite to provide live entertainment.
Admission to the Carroll American Legion’s winter dance is a freewill donation to the organization, and Nieland adds that refreshments will be offered throughout the evening at the cash bar. He says their primary goal is to put on a fun night for the community that has supported them over the years. However, any money they raise will go back to support the Legion’s local programs.
Again, the Carroll American Legion Dance is from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Carroll American Legion Hall on Saturday, Feb. 14. Everyone is welcome, even those without a date.
