U.S. Congressman and Iowa gubernatorial candidate Randy Feenstra (R-IA) will be making a campaign stop in Carroll tomorrow (Friday). Feenstra is scheduled to appear at the Carroll Pizza Ranch (425 U.S. Highway 30) at 1 p.m. to speak about his vision for Iowa and his two terms in the U.S. House of Representatives. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions on topics or policies important to them. Feenstra is among a somewhat crowded pool of candidates seeking the party’s gubernatorial nomination, which includes District 43 State Rep. Eddie Andrews, former District 91 Rep. Brad Sherman, former Iowa Department of Administrative Services Director Adam Steen, and Iowa farmer and businessman Zach Lahn. Current Iowa State Auditor Rob Sand is the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination.
