The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education will be holding a work session this upcoming Thursday to discuss the Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 budget, staffing plan and an exempt session for negotiations. The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. at Adams Elementary. Superintendent Dr. Casey Berlau says the board will first have another discussion regarding the FY27 budget.
A little later on in them meeting, board members will review the certified budget timeframe which will include scheduling the public hearings on the proposed FY27 property tax rate. Berlau says an updated staffing plan will also be brought to the board for approval.
The work session will wrap up with a brief discussion on the facilities plan and an exempt session to strategize for negotiations. The CCSD Board of Education will be open to the public, aside from the exempt session, and all are welcome to attend at Adams Elementary starting at 5 p.m.
