No serious injuries were reported after a trailer disconnected from a pickup truck and struck another vehicle in Greene County. According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, a 2008 Ford F-250, operated by Brady Pate of Ottosen, was traveling southbound on S Avenue at approximately 5:15 p.m. near the intersection with U.S. Highway 30 when the trailer he was towing disconnected from the hitch and collided with a 2016 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Marc Peterson. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $4,000. Pate was cited for failure to maintain control.
