The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will review road construction work proposed for 2026, updates to the county’s zoning administration, and consider funding requests from additional non-governmental organizations (NGOs) at their meeting on Monday. The board convenes at 9 a.m. on Feb. 2 in the meeting room at the Carroll County Courthouse. The board will open with a presentation from the Manning Day Care Board on its Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 funding request. County Recorder Ashten Wittrock will then provide her office’s quarterly report to the board, followed by County Engineer Zac Andersen, who will detail the notice to bidders for upcoming construction projects on 240th Street, Hawthrone Avenue, Delta Avenue, and Sycamore Avenue. After reviewing a potential change in payroll management services from Tyler Technologies, the board will acknowledge the resignation of the county’s zoning administrator, Sarah Haberl, who is stepping away from that position to devote more of her time to her role as county assessor. The supervisors are considering contracting with the Region XII Council of Governments to oversee the county’s zoning. Other items on Monday’s agenda include a potential agreement with Ahlers & Cooney, P.C., for labor law consulting, clarification on pay adjustments for multi-position employees, and committee reports. The Feb. 2 meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel. Links to the agenda and video are included below.
