The Manson Public Library has been awarded a grant to expand early childhood literacy to help develop strong, lifelong readers. Linking Families and Communities is a nonprofit organization that supports and enhances services and programs for young children in Calhoun, Pocahontas and Webster County. Manson Public Library Director Alex Hanson says Linking Families reached out to her in regards of this grant, believing the community would strongly benefit from an additional resource for early literacy.
