The Carroll County Board of Supervisors’ agenda for Monday is short, with Fiscal Year (FY 2027) budget preparations being the sole focus. The supervisors convene at 9 a.m. on Jan. 5 in the Carroll County Courthouse’s lower level. The board opens with a review of the FY27 secondary roads budget from County Engineer Zac Andersen. Historically, this department has been the county’s largest, both in staffing and in annual expenditures. Following that initial budget proposal, the supervisors will hear from County Attorney Curt Steger, who will review his office’s FY27 budget. The only other items on the agenda are a request from the Highway 30 Coalition to help fund the creation of a Highway 30 audio tour phone app and routine committee reports. The Monday, Jan. 5, meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel. Links to the agenda and video are included with this story on our website.
