A bridge replacement project in rural Calhoun County will close down small section of roadway until this upcoming summer. The bridge located over Purgatory Creek on 320th Street, about a mile east of NEW Cooperative Inc Rand’s scale, closed this (Thursday) afternoon and is expected to reopen July 1. While not believed to have much impact on every day commuters, the Calhoun County Engineer’s office is reminding travelers to use caution around construction sites to keep everyone safe and to plan ahead if traveling in the area.
