Dupaco Community Credit Union has selected New Hope in Carroll to participate in the financial institution’s “Gift of Innovation” grant program. The effort, conducted through Dupaco’s Innovation Lab, offers the organization’s leadership innovation session, which helps non-profits overcome resource or financial limitations. Rather than the typical monetary award, the Gift of Innovation supplies advisors who help groups develop short- and long-term strategic plans, implement policies that promote creativity, and improve business models. Dupaco President and CEO Joe Hearn says, “We believe innovation is a catalyst for positive change. By equipping nonprofits with tools and strategies to think differently, we’re helping them unlock new ways to serve their communities. And when non-profits thrive, the ripple effect strengthens families, neighborhoods, and entire regions.” New Hope was one of just 15 non-profits in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois selected for the program.
